Through 3 Quarters
The Auburn Tigers are on the board, but we're still waiting on the Akron Zips to respond. Three quarters in and Auburn's offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating Akron 53 to nothing three quarters in. The Tigers have been relying on RB Tank Bigsby, who has rushed for two TDs and 119 yards on 13 carries, and QB Bo Nix, who has passed for three TDs and 275 yards on 22 attempts in addition to picking up 32 yards on the ground.
With four sacks, the Auburn defense has been a true menace for Akron's offensive line. We'll see how many sacks Auburn can scare up the rest of the game.

What to Know
The Akron Zips and the Auburn Tigers will face off at 7 p.m. ET Sept. 4 at Jordan-Hare Stadium to kick off their 2021 seasons. Returning after a rocky 1-5 season, Akron is aiming to prove that the past does not define them. Meanwhile, Auburn was on the positive side of .500 (6-5) last season and is hoping to kick off an even more successful year.
The Zips are expected to lose, and badly: the experts have them at a 37-point disadvantage. A victory doesn't seem in the cards, but we'll see if they can at least keep Auburn from covering the spread.
